In a sign that confidence may be returning to the market, the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) said that it would lift suspension of initial public offerings (IPOs) on the Shanghai and Shenzhen stock exchanges as of June 5. The CSRC released draft guidelines for new issues so that issue prices may reflect market demand and lead underwriters avoid "unreasonably" high prices. Source: Xinhua News |
