Markets fell slightly on profit taking but Utilities and Resources sectors increased. The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index closed at 2,767.24 down 0.41% or 11.35 points and the Shenzhen Component Index closed at 10,733.72 up 0.20% or 21.40 points. Combined turnover increased to RMB 263.54 bln, up from 238.79 bln the previous trading day.

Ping An Insurance (601318) up 3.49% to RMB 45.10, China Life Insurance (601628) down 1.13% to RMB 24.52 and CITIC Securities (600030) up 1.23% to RMB 27.23.
